This post will list the Bible study guides that are available for download. I use these guides in several different ways. I use them to help small groups (3-4 people) gather around a book of the Bible and proceed methodically through a book. Pleople have used these effectively for this.
I probably use these guides more in Biblical counseling homework. Often people come presenting many symptoms of trials, tribulations and sins in their lives. Instead of just focussing on the symptoms, I find that helping a person work through a significant portion of Scripture helps everyone to identify root causes of their situation. I will work through books like Ephesians, 2 Corinthians, 1 Peter and the life of Joesph. Often, as we work through the process, people grow in their spiritual walk comprehensively. It impacts many areas of their lives. The Spirit uses the Word to create a lasting impact for their good.
